Welcome From the Chair

Greetings! Thank you for visiting the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, Inc. (GLBC) website. As the 2019-20 Chairman of the largest state legislative black caucus in the nation, I look forward to collaborating with fellow colleagues of the Georgia General Assembly, our constituents, community leaders and corporate partners.

The GLBC continues to work towards developing and supporting legislative policy to advance African Americans, People of Color and other underrepresented groups. As members of the GLBC, the work we are called to do as legislators, unifies our political position and helps us to advocate for all Georgia residents. As a collective body, our caucus will fight hard for the important issues, which are: protecting and expanding voting rights here in our state, criminal justice reform, advocating for minorities and persons of colors to do more business in our state, and providing access to quality and affordable healthcare, housing and education.

Tour the website, learn more about who we are and the work we are doing here in Georgia. The GLBC is here to be a service to you, your family and community; we appreciate the opportunity to serve you and all of Georgia.

A Servants Heart,
