Greetings Family, I am elated to greet you on behalf of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus the largest black caucus in the world. We stand on the shoulders of “The Original 33” black legislators in 1869 that stood united so that we would have the right to serve.
As the Chairman of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus I am also reminded that we represent over 3 million constituents. We are in a defining moment in the lives of Georgians to hear the voices of the people. The Georgia Legislative Black Caucus is committed to move Georgia forward through our programs and e orts from our GLBC internship program, GLBC HBCU Tour and Student Roundtable, Black Farmer’s and For the People’s Tour.
As we celebrate more than 50 years of service to the nation I am grateful for the many leaders that help make the GLBC a united family of strength for the people of Georgia. May God almighty bless the leadership of these great leaders and continue to give us the strength to move Georgia forward.
